Thank you for your participation in the 2nd Annual LaAmistad Buckhead 5K!! It was beautiful day and a very fun event. Mark your calendar for Saturday February 23rd, 2013 - the date of the 3rd Annual Run!
Many of you had questions about how to submit your time as a Peachtree qualifier. Having your time in a certified Peachtree qualifier does not guarantee that you will get a Peachtree number, but rather, if you do get in, it determines where you would start.
According to the Peachtree Road Race website:
- Participants wishing to be placed in the appropriate start wave will need to submit their finish time from the 2010 or 2011 Peachtree or any other USATF certified race - 10K, 5K, 5M/8K, 15K, 10M or 13.1M-at the time of registration. Times must have been run on or after January 1, 2010.
- Participants need to provide the race name, date and net finish time at the time of registration.
A confirmation of the LaAmistad 5K’s status as a certified 5K is found at the USATF website. The information that you’ll want about the race is:
