Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and LaAmistad, along with its partner organization Peachtree Presbyterian
Church, join forces to host A Taste of Peachtree! Join us for a fun family-friendly event to benefit two of Atlanta’s most inspiring non-profit
organizations. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, ranked among the top pediatric hospitals nationwide, treats over 600,000 patient visits a year. Over
80,000 patient visits are Hispanic pediatric patients. LaAmistad is an award winning non-profit that mentors students, educates parents, and transforms
families throughout the community.. LaAmistad provides mentoring programs, sports/activities, tutoring, ESL courses, and family partnerships to provide
a community of support to Latino families. LaAmistad is recognized as a leader in mentoring and education through the Atlanta Public School System.
Both LaAmistad and Children’s are committed to providing excellent support for Latino kids and their families.
A Taste of Peachtree will raise money to support both of these causes. Buckhead area restaurants will come together and provide food tastings to guests. Families are encouraged to attend this luncheon directly after church.. Even if you do not attend Peachtree Presbyterian Church, you are encouraged to attend to support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and LaAmistad.
