LaAmistad Internship Program

We provide real world experience to high school and college students who are interested in nonprofit work, serving the Latino community, or education.

LaAmistad invites motivated and capable high school and college students to participate in the LaAmistad Internship Program. The program runs year-round and interns may start at any time. The program begins with the interns learning about the needs and circumstances of the Latino community here in Atlanta. Once the interns become familiar with the community, they begin on a variety of projects that support LaAmistad and our families. All LaAmistad interns gain real world experience and learn about the day-to-day challenges and triumphs of running a nonprofit. Our interns work on a variety of projects, including fundraising, volunteer management, grant writing, translation (when applicable), curriculum design, public relations and daily operations support. All of our interns also have the opportunity to work with our LaAmistad students and families.

Spanish speakers are preferred, but not required. All who are interested are encouraged to apply.
