This summer camp is held at The Westminster Schools in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. All Atlanta area LaAmistad After School programs are encouraged to send their students to this fun and engaging camp. Campers spend the majority of the day catching up or getting ahead in school subjects like language arts and math, while the rest of their time is filled with fun activities like swimming in Westminster’s indoor swimming pool, playing sports, or doing arts and crafts projects. Both English and Spanish are used for daily lessons at the camp. The camp lasts for four weeks in June. Students are bused from their LaAmistad After School sites, arriving at Westminster’s campus each day at 8:30am. The buses then pick up the students at 2:30pm to return them to their respective sites.
